MR-Sensors
Where do you use MR-sensors?
MR-sensors, evaluation electronics and magnetic scales from Sensitec are in use everywhere, where movement is being controlled and steered, where paths, angles, positions, electric or magnetic fields are measured and detected.
What is the MR effect?
The MagnetoResistive Effect, "MR-Effect", has been known for 150 years. However, its use in sensor applications was first made practically possible through the development of thin-film technology some 30 years ago.

PHOTOVOLTAICS
Inverter modules serve to convert the direct current from the solar generator into alternating current and adapts the frequency and voltage to suit the electrical grid. Highly efficient MR-based current sensors and modern power electronics combine to ensure that this conversion takes place with minimal power loss.
Typical Applications
- Current sensor for inverter module
APPLICATION EXAMPLE: CURRENT MEASUREMENT IN AN INVERTER FOR SOLAR ENERGY APPLICATIONS

Requirements
A sensor with high efficiency shall be used in both internal and external environments for precise current measurement.
