Hanover trade fair 2016: US ambassador Emerson visits Sensitec The USA was at the HANNOVER MESSE for the first time as a partner country this year.
Around 250 companies from the largest economies in the world came together at the Hanover trade fair, where solutions for the networked industry were presented and contacts with potential corporate partners from all over the world were established.
President Barack Obama appeared at the fair's official opening event on Sunday April 24, 2016, accompanied on Monday morning by Federal Chancellor Merkel on the traditional tour of the trade fair. The visit by US ambassador John Emerson at the Sensitec stall in order to discuss details of the application in the Mars rover is due to the successful collaboration with NASA in various and spectacular aerospace projects – such as the Mars rover “Curiosity” which is equipped with sensors by Sensitec.
