Panel discusses strategies for sustainable innovation

This is where the party leadership met, among them the Greens Minister President for Baden Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann, and both of the Green Ministers for Economic Affairs, Tarek Al-Wazir (Hesse) and Eveline Lemke (Rhineland Palatinate). The aim is to create a sustainable economy that brings prosperity as well as enabling a self-determined and good life for future generations.


Dr. Rolf Slatter, managing shareholder of Sensitec GmbH was

invited to a panel discussion on the topic of “Strategies for sustainable Innovation”.
In Rhineland Palatinate an innovation strategy was developed
under the leadership of the green-led Ministry for Economic Affairs. It is focused on technological opportunities and
addresses business challenges. Innovations enable findings
from research and technology to be implemented in competitive products, procedures
and services.

The panel discussion, headed by Eveline Lemke, extensively discussed the following: How can the State formulate general conditions in such a way, that the science, companies and founders create innovative products and methods for sustainable business and more employment? What Innovations do we need in order to create more prosperity through a sustainable economy?
How can common innovation strategies be developed by representatives of research, business,
administration and politics?
