The SPS Connect, the virtual platform of the exhibition SPS - Smart Production Solutions, is the digital industry meeting point for the international automation industry. After the cancellation of the SPS 2020 in Nuremberg due to the Corona pandemic it provides a platform for professional exchange for the automation industry.

Our product highlight EBX7914 sensor module
The EBx7914 sensor module, with its various sensor variants in combination with a high resolution interpolation ASIC, offers a wide range of possible applications.
The sensor signals are processed differentially and are available as quadrature signals. In addition, the module offers an SPI-Interface.
The sensor module is very compact and can be easily integrated. In one variant the sensor module is equipped with a TMR FreePitch sensor and thus becomes a 360 degreee absolute encoder for the shaft end.
Many Features of the sensor module guarantee additional benefits to the customer. The resolution is adjustable up to 16384 flanks per pitch and an A-/B-/Z-differential output signal (TTL). The sensor module contains an SPI-Interface. Furthermore, a RAW-signal interface is included to be prepared for future extensions. Also Condition Monitoring is possible using the built-in temperature sensor. The module is available as incremental measuring system and with a reference PCB to detect a reference signal once per revolution. You can use the module in a width temperature range from -25°C up to +105°C.
One new feature and a big advantage of the EBx7914 is the Auto Calibration function to receive high performance and resolution in field. Another advantage is the compact and well-integrated design. So you can easy mount and integrate the sensor in your application.
The EBx7914 is an incremental encoder for linear or rotary movements in various industrial applications, so you can use it as a motor integrated encoder, motor feedback system or for linear position measurement. One highlight is also the TA903 sensor on the edge of the Bottom side for a 360 degree absolute angle measurement at the end of the shaft.
