One of our core competencies is the development and manufacture of sensor chips. These components can be used to manufacture more complex magnetic measuring systems. Our company has its own sensor chip development and production facilities for manufacturing sensor elements on a semiconductor substrate. We are pleased to offer our customers a complete wafer (typically with several thousand sensor elements) as a delivery format, as well as the sensor chip bare or encapsulated in an SMD-capable package.<\/p>\n

We provide magnetoresistive sensors with the three typical basic technologies AMR, GMR, and TMR. The different technologies have different advantages for the application.<\/p>\n

AMR sensors<\/h3>

AMR technology is the longest-used technology for MR sensors. It is characterized by its simplicity in sensor design and its robustness. Thanks to various sensor designs, the sensors achieve high measurement accuracy in both magnetic field measurement and position determination.<\/p>To AMR sensors<\/a><\/div>

TMR sensors<\/h3>

TMR technology is still relatively new in the field of sensor technology. The great flexibility in both the stack structure and the layout design of the sensor is particularly noteworthy. GMR sensors have been established for many years and, similar to TMR, offer a high degree of flexibility in design. At Sensitec, this sensor technology is primarily used for scanning tooth structures.
