The CAS5000 current sensor family is designed for the electronic measurement of alternating and direct currents and also offers a safe isolation of the measurement signal and the evaluation circuit.

The sensors offer

  • A measurement range of up to 3 times the rated current
  • Galvanic isolation
  • Unipolar 5 V supply voltage
  • Various variants for different measurement ranges
  • Various variants with and without reference voltage

This product family has eight sensor variants for you to choose from.

  • CAS5015SAA for 15 A rated current
  • CAS5015SRA for 15 A rated current with reference voltage
  • CAS5015KRA for 15 A rated current with reference voltage and larger clearance
  • CAS5025SAA for 25 A rated current
  • CAS5025SRA for 25 A rated current with reference voltage
  • CAS5025KRA for 25 A rated current with reference voltage and larger clearance
  • CAS5050SAA for 50 A rated current
  • CAS5050SRA for 50 A rated current with reference voltage
  • CAS5050KRA for 50 A rated current with reference voltage and larger clearance
  • CAS5075KRA for 75 A rated current with reference voltage

Advantages:

  • Very small size
  • Excellent accuracy
  • A low temperature drift
  • Highly dynamic response

The CAS5000 in the THT housing and unipolar 5 V voltage supply is ideally suited for low-noise measurement tasks due to the particularly high output voltages, such as:

  • Variable frequency converters
  • Direct-current dynamo
  • Solar inverters
  • Switched mode power supplies
  • Uninterruptible power supply
  • DC/DC converters

General information MagnetoResistive current sensors

The CAS5000 current sensor family was designed for highly dynamic, electronic measurement of alternating and direct currents and also offers a safe isolation of the measurement signal and the evaluation circuit.

The CAS5000 current sensor family are based on TMR sensor technology and use the closed loop principle.

The sensors are designed for PCB mounting for a rated current range of 15 A to 75 A and are ideally suited for measurement tasks in the field of power electronics.

CAS5000 family

The sensors primarily differ in the different current ranges. There are two different types – one type without reference voltage and a version with a additional reference voltage.

The current sensors are perfectly calibrated to the usage current range during production.
