CMS2000 family AMR current sensors with a high signal-to-noise ratio

The CMS2000 current sensor family is designed for the electronic measurement of alternating and direct currents and also offers a safe isolation of the measurement signal and the evaluation circuit.

The sensors offer

  • A measurement range of up to 3 times the rated current
  • Galvanic isolation
  • Bipolar 15 V supply voltage 
  • Various variants for different measurement ranges

This product family has five sensor variants for you to choose from.

  • CMS2005 for 5 A rated current
  • CMS2015 for 15 A rated current
  • CMS2025 for 25 A rated current
  • CMS2050 for 50 A rated current
  • CMS2100 for 100 A rated current

General information MagnetoResistive current sensors

The MR technology enables an excellent dynamic response time and is not afflicted with a hysteresis, as is often the case in iron core-based current sensors. Due to the large signal output voltage range of up to ±7.5 V and the resultant large signal-to-noise ratio, the CMS2000 current sensor family offers sensors for PCB mounting for a rated current range of 5 A to 100 A, which are ideally suited for measurement tasks in the field of power electronics.
