To minimise the risks associated with our production facilities, we carry out regular technical inspections and ensure that our safety equipment and organisational processes remain state-of-the-art.
Our procurement policy is designed to systematically increase the resource and energy efficiency of our operating resources. In doing so, we guarantee full compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management). We actively engage with our suppliers and service providers to ensure they integrate defined environmental and energy aspects into their operations.
Through the certified, continuous improvement of our management practices, we make a demonstrable contribution to environmental protection. Our aim is to reduce environmental impacts to the minimum level that is technically and economically feasible, with legal requirements representing the binding lower limit for us.
This includes the targeted minimisation of the environmental impact of our activities, products and services at our site and in the surrounding neighbourhood.
We are committed to the responsible use of energy and water resources. Where possible, we replace hazardous chemicals with less hazardous substances or reduce their use to the absolute minimum. In line with the principles of the circular economy, we prioritise waste prevention over proper disposal.
Our aim is to achieve a measurable reduction in our direct and indirect CO2 emissions and to continuously improve energy efficiency, whilst always ensuring that our high quality standards for products and services are met.
